On Tuesday June 9, 2009, the City held the first of two public workshops. The workshop was held at the Westin Hotel in Downtown Napa to gather the community’s vision for the Downtown Napa Specific Plan, and preliminary design strategies to achieve the community’s vision. Approximately 90 community members attended the workshop, including residents, employees, community organization leaders, business owners and property owners from Napa.

The City of Napa hosted the second community workshop on November 18, 2009 at the the Native Sons of the Golden West hall in Downtown Napa. This session provided an opportunity for Napans to learn about the emerging vision and strategy framework for Downtown Napa.

The City of Napa hosted a community meeting to review the draft historic survey of the Downtown plan area on November 10, 2010, from 6pm-8pm at Hatt Hall.
The City of Napa will host the fourth community workshop in Fall of 2011. The exact date is to be determined. This will be a joint session with the Planning Commission and the City Council.
